Story Telling with Clay Workshop: For young Kids + Chosen Family Member, or Parents

$35Join us at The Garcia Center for the Arts for a 4 hour hand building workshop inside the art gallery room.
Learn the basics of hand building with ceramics. Class will be instructed by Lucy J Sunga. Tools, materials, glazing and firings are included. Masks Required.
Some things to consider:
We will be inside the main building, the workshop will be held in the art gallery.
Please remember to wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty in, or feel free to bring an apron.
Leave rings and other jewelry at home.
Make sure to bring a hair tie for those who have long hair.
Don’t forget your mask, but we will have some if needed

Workshop Schedule
10:00am- Sign in/ Introduction/ Introduction to hand building/ Storytelling Session/Hand building your artwork
12:00p.m.- Lunch Break/ Continue working on Project
2:00p.m.- Clean up/End of workshop
Agreements:
I understand and have read the workshop outline.
I understand that I will return 2-3 weeks after, todays workshop on a date TBA to glaze my project.
I understand that I will have my final project exhibited at The Garcia Center for the Arts in September 2021 for 2-4 weeks.
I understand that I will be able to pick up my project in October 2021 to take home.
I understand that purchasing a ticket includes the donation fee and payment for each youth +chosen family member, or parent.
