The Jury The Jury JTNP Art Show and Faire

50 artists have been selected for the juried/judged Joshua Tree National Park Art Show and Faire.

The jury spent seven hours on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, reviewing 204 images projected onto large flat screens in Council Chambers at Twentynine Palms City Hall and tallying their votes to select the 50 artists and works for the juried/judged art show in the Joshua Tree National Park Art Show and Faire 2013.  Among them was Arts Connection's very own Andy Woods!

Jury members, pictured above, left to right, are:

Mita Barter - artist and member of the steering committee and 29 Palms Artists Guild; Jimbo Jimson - artist and president of Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council; Ann Congdon - artist, architect, member of the Public Arts Advisory Committee for the City of Twentynine Palms; Caryn Davidson - Joshua Tree National Park Ranger and Artist-in-Residence Liaison; Andy Woods - executive director of Arts Connection, The Arts Council of San Bernardino County; Art Mortimer - professional artist, muralist, and Action Council for 29 Palms member; (Not pictured): Jury facilitator was educator and former Twentynine Palms Mayor John Cole.
