Building Future Readiness in the Face of Climate Change: Amplifying Community Voices in the Inland Empire

Arts Connection, in partnership with the Institute for the Future (IFTF), hosted a full-day workshop to support the development of California’s 5th Climate Change Assessment. As artists, culture bearers, and communities across the Inland Empire face increasing environmental challenges—rising temperatures, wildfires, drought, and pollution—this workshop created a space for residents to share their experiences and connect with others.

Participants engaged in discussions about how they are navigating current climate impacts, explored future possibilities, and collaborated on innovative solutions. By attending, community members ensured their voices were heard, contributing valuable insights to help California better understand and prepare for the challenges ahead.
