Tula B. Strong is an Inland Empire based choreographer focused on bridging experimental performance with conversations surrounding the everyday experiences of BIPOC individuals, faith, Jesus, and wellness. She creates live and filmed performances that blur the boundaries between concert dance & musical theater. Her work has been presented at venues such as Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, CA, Glorya Kaufman Theater at UCLA, and Northwestern University’s Shirley Welsh Ryan Opera Theater. Tula has received her Bachelors from Princeton University, her Masters in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University, and her M.F.A in Dance from UCLA.
