Artist and Poet from Big Bear City to Exhibit in Visalia Art Show March 7 - 28

Séamus Ó Dubsláine and Siobhán Ó Mócháin Breathnach of the Corridor studio in Big Bear City are in a spring art exhibition entitled Sierra Wonders at Arts Visalia Visual Art Center, March 8-March 28, 2014. The show developed by gallery director Kevin Bowman draws from visual art and poetry in the publication Sierra Wonders. Published in 2013 by Three Rivers Arts Alliance, the 108-page hard-cover book includes sculptures and poetry by the Corridor studio. Opening reception is March 7, 6pm-8pm, 
214 East Oak Avenue, Visalia.

The Corridor studio, formerly the Corridor gallery in East Hollywood 1996-2006, is located in Big Bear City, an unincorporated community administered by the county of San Bernardino. The studio is an active member of the Arts Council of Big Bear Lake and the Big Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce. Ó Dubsláine exhibits his sculptures and photography in the Big Bear Lake Fine Art gallery sponsored by the Arts Council. Ó Dubsláine recently participated in the Sacred Memories exhibition at the historic Pico House in Los Angeles and Breathnach showed assemblages in Colorado. In November 2013, the Corridor studio was part of the Ancestors, Guardians and Guides exhibition at the historic Charles Sumner Museum and Archives in Washington, DC.
