18th Annual Charlotte S. Huck Children's Literature Festival! University of Redlands

Each year, the Charlotte S. Huck Children's Literature Festival brings together educators librarians, parents, students and the best authors, illustrators and editors.

This year our faculty is once again chosen from the “best of the best.”

Award winning speakers include authors and illustrators Lois Lowry, Candace Fleming, Paul Janeczko, Eric Rohmann, David Wiesner, Eugene Yelchin, Kristine O’Connell George, and Alexis O’Neill and editor Dinah Stevenson.

In conjunction with her visit to Redlands, the University of Redlands Theatre Arts Department will present a stage play based on Lois Lowry's “The Giver.”

Tickets for this production are included in the festival fees, or can be purchased from the University of Redlands Theatre Arts Department at 909-748-8728.

Full festival includes all meals and events plus a ticket for a performance of "The Giver" is $175 ($190 after January 10).

Registration closes at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17.
