Summer Day Camp at the San Bernardino County Museum

Investigating Animals

Session 1: July 7 – July 11, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

Cost: $155.00 (non-members), $135.00 (museum association members)

Join us as we explore the kingdom of animals. From the microscopic to the gigantic, furred, feathered and fabulous, kids love animals. We’ll collect, observe, and study animals and their behavior. Campers will pose scientific questions and conduct research to find answers. They will make and use science field notebooks to help focus observations and collect data, and take home to use as they continue animal studies on their own. And of course, they will pet, cuddle and romp with Exploration Station residents. All Animals—All Week Long!

Some camp activities are sponsored in part by Loma Linda University and the National Science Foundation.

During a family party 1:30-2:30 Friday, campers will be interpretive guides, sharing what they learned with family and friends in the Exploration Station Live Animal Gallery.

Deadline to Enroll: July 2 at 4:00 pm

Registration and payment must be received at Museum by this deadline.
