Eligibility • Nonprofit, public benefit organizations with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and not classified as a private foundation. • Organizations that have been in operation for at least three years. • Organizations must have an annual operating budget less than $100,000. • Organizations that have a mission statement that clearly delineate it as an arts organization. • Organizations must be located in, and have primary programs delivered in Riverside or San Bernardino County. • Groups or individual artists that are not incorporated but can utilize a fiscal sponsor.
2013 Submission Deadline Applications due: October 30, 2013. Decisions announced by: November 25, 2013. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $10,000. The grant performance period will begin on December 1, 2013 to May 30, 2014. Grantees will participate in a mandatory planned Presentation Phase of ARPIE. Presentations for the Presentation Phase, events that will highlight the projects of ARPIE grantees, should occur by June 15, 2014. Informational sessions regarding the grant opportunity will be held at the locations below.
