Community Impact Grant
Community Impact grant application is an online application only. 1. Community Impact Fund: The Community Impact Fund comprises the Foundation’s unrestricted grantmaking. The Foundation responds to requests for support across a wide-range of community needs and welcomes proposals through this competitive grant process. Grant deadline is February 25. Maximum award amount is $10,000.
• Nonprofit, public benefit organizations with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and not classified as a private foundation and can document on-going operations in Riverside and/or San Bernardino Counties and have nonprofit status for at least three years. Nonprofit organizations must have an operational budget of less than $1 million to be eligible to apply. This applies to fiscal sponsors also. Additional eligibility requirements can be found online. Funding Priorities Organizations that: Are located in Riverside County or San Bernardino County and serve primarily the residents of Riverside and/or San Bernardino Counties. Have a proven ability to carry out programs consistent with its mission and a history of successful overall operations. Collaborate or partner with other non-profit entities resulting in greater community impact and positive outcomes that improve, enhance, and enrich the quality of life in the two-county area. Demonstrate strong, community-based boards and sound financial practices.
The Youth Grantmakers Fund
2. The Youth Grantmakers Fund is a special fund allocation for projects, programs and/or activities that address issues facing youth such as: alcohol and drug use, teen pregnancy, academic stress, depression and college/future plans.
This is a paper application and hardcopies of the grant must be mailed or delivered to The Community Foundation offices before the grant deadline of February 19, 2014.
