This contest is open to amateur photographers only. There is no limit to the number of photographs an exhibitor can enter; however, each photograph must have a separate entry form completed and entry fee paid. Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content as determined by the National Orange Show in its sole discretion, are ineligible for all categories of this contest. The photographs must be the photographer’s own work.

Entry Fee (NOS Citrus Fair): $5.00
Media Fee (per sample over minimum): $5.00
The 5 categories for this year's contest are:
Fair Fun - Photos including Fair activities such as rides, games, exhibits, etc.
Citrus Heritage - Photos depicting the history of citrus farming.
@TheNOS - Photos taken at an event at the National Orange Show
Junior Photographers - Photos incorporating any of the categories listed above. Must be taken by someone 13 years or younger.
Patriotic - Photos depicting patriotic events or gatherings, the American Flag, Veterans, Military personnel etc.
Entry deadline: All online entries must be submitted no later than 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5th.
Event Date: Accepted entries will be notified by Tuesday, April 12th and will be on display in the Citrus Building for the entire duration of the Fair. Contest winners will be announced during the Fair on Saturday, April 23rd at 2:00pm in the Citrus Building.
Entry Fees:
Entry fee is $5 per photograph entered. Credit/Debit cards are the only accepted payment option.

How to Enter:
 1. Pick a category
Choose a category and select your best work, or shoot a brand new photo.
2. Go Online
Upload your work here on .jpeg .jpg only, 72 ppi/dpi, no smaller than 1920px on the longest side, no bigger than 5mb.
3. Frame it
After your entry is accepted, print them either 5x7, 8x10, but not larger 11x14. Then place them in a black frame and deliver them to the National Orange Show Administration Office 689 South E Street San Bernardino, CA 92408 no later than 5:00 p.m on Monday, April 18th.
(Your frame and photo(s) will be available for pick-up the week after the fair at the Administration Office)

Selection Process:
Winning artwork is chosen through a jury process in which artistic quality serves as the primary criteria.
April 5th - Online entry deadline (11:00 p.m.)
April 12th - Accepted entries will be notified through email
April 18th - Drop off deadline (5:00 p.m.)
April 23rd - Winners announced (2:00 p.m.)

Stephanie MacLean

Stephanie MacLean is the Marketing, Membership and Collections Coordinator at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), located on the California State University-San Bernardino campus. 


In her current position, Ms. MacLean works with museum patrons from the campus community and surrounding San Bernardino areas, transforming visitors into lifelong supporters of the arts. Ms. MacLean also serves on the planning committee for the Arts & Music Festival at CSUSB, which aims to build a sense of community through the arts. For her work on the festival, she received the President’s Team Achievement Award in 2013. 


Ms. MacLean has served on the board of directors for Arts Connection: The Arts Council of San Bernardino County since April 2015. Arts Connection serves the largest county in the US, connecting organizations and artists with resources while providing workshops, networking opportunities and organizing the largest arts-focused conference in the Inland Empire. 



Ms. MacLean is a graduate of Cal State San Bernardino, having earned a B.A. in Art History with a minor in Glass Art. She is a member of the American Alliance of Museums, the Glass Art Society and Arts Connection, the Arts Council of San Bernardino County.
