For the Spring 2015 Radio Membership campaign, Public Radio KVCR 91.9
plans to launch an initiative to partner with a local Inland Empire artist or Art Association. The artist would create a public radio-inspired piece of art which the station would feature on a
pint glass to be given away as a “thank you” gift for a membership donation.
The artist should be a public radio listener so their passion will come out in interviews and their art (although itsnot required). The artist is charged with:
Highlighting the connection between KVCR and the Inland Empire communities.
The artist would donate their artwork and in return would receive a massive amount of promotions and airtime.
The selected artist would be an on-air guest. He/she will (1) introduce their design and talk about their
inspirations for the artwork; (2) Share their relationship with public radio (3) perhaps share why it’s important to support their local public radio station.
91.9 would also record a promo piece with the artist, which will play during the membership campaign.
The artist will be a guest on one KVC_aRts, our weekly radio show, to talk about this project and any
other project he/she may have occurring, etc. KVC_aRts can be heard on Wed. at 7pm & Sun. at 6pm.
91.9 would create a webpage about the artist, including a bio and images of the artist in their studio or
what or where ever they want to feature.
The donated artwork may be used for other 91.9 promotional materials, including postcards, thank you
notes, e-blasts, stickers, bookmarkers, etc.
The campaign would be promoted in a written press release and promoted heavily on Facebook and
We hope you would also promote in your Associations Newsletter
