This year, San Bernardino Valley College Music Department will be hosting The National Orange Show Fair Honor Choir. All singers are welcome, ages 14 and up. Rehearsals will be held the 1s Thursdays starting Feb 1st from 5pm-7pm. There will be a dress rehearsal on May 1st from 5-7pm. Performance will be on opening day of the Fair, May 2nd from 3pm- 5pm. More details will be given on the first rehearsal.

Opera Auditions for “Magic Flute”
Friday Feb 2, 2018 from 10am -2pm
Held in the MAC (NH164)
Holding open auditions for Magic Flute Friday Feb. 2, 2018.
Please show up to auditions with either sheet music or a karaoke track. 
 
If selected: a minor role and major will be given to you to begin practicing. If you choose to participate in the opera you will have to enroll in the class for the spring semester. The class will be held Fridays from 9am-3pm with a given lunch break. You will have access to practice recordings on YouTube for all the duets, trios, quartets, quintets and finales. You will also be given a CD with professional recordings to practice with the music score. Music will be sung in German, dialogue will be done in English FOR EVENING PERFORMANCES.

·      May 11th- Concert Choir Recital. Held in the Recital Hall (NH161)- 7pm- FREE
 
·      May 12th- Voci Soli Recital. Held in the Recital Hall (NH161)- 7pm- FREE
 
·      May 13th- Applied Voice. Held in the Recital Hall (NH161)- 2:30pm- FREE
 
·      Magic Flute Opera. Held in the Auditorium
       June 27-30 at 7pm
       July 1 at 2:30pm
