Basics of Oil Painting with Vici Haag
Introduction to oil painting for beginners. No previous experience necessary. For adults and teens – suitable for teen Home School class.
Thursdays: Sept 28, Oct 5, 12, 19, 26,   12:30 – 2.30pm 
Fees:  $95       RAA Member: $70    
 
Pastels with NATALIE RICHARDS
Explore landscape painting using light and shadows to create depth to your artwork.
Tuesdays   Oct 5, (Thursday) 10, 17, 31   6:30 – 9:00pm   
Fee:   $95       RAA Member $70  
 
CLAY SAFARI with Penny Palmer
Have fun learning good hand building techniques as you build clay projects from coils, slabs and pinch pots. No previous experience necessary.
Mondays: Oct 30, Nov 13, 20, 27, Dec 4   6:30 – 9pm
Fees:  $100        RAA Member: $75                materials fee $25 payable to instructor
 
WATERCOLOR with CINDY SULLIVAN
Beginners WC class with step by step instruction of a specific piece
Fridays   Oct 30, Nov 13, 20, 27 10am – 12:30pm   
Fee:   $95       RAA Member $70  
 
WATERCOLORS with ED SOTELLO
Integrates creativity with instruction of basic skills, design and composition. Beginning through advanced students will grow in this class.  
4 week class Oct 12, 19, 26 Nov 2  6:30 – 9 pm       
5 week class  Nov 16, 30, Dec 7, 14, 21   7 – 9pm 
Fee: $95         RAA Member:   $70
 
DRAWING with MARCIA TAACK
Continue to learn techniques for better drawing that will improve all forms of art. Beginners to intermediates
Tuesdays: Nov 14, 21, Dec 12 & 19   6:30 – 9pm 
Fees:  $95        RAA Member: $70             
 
 
Workshops
 
PASTEL WORKSHOP with Angela Koenig   
Angela says “”Pastels are little gems of pure color! As a medium, they are fun to use and can be incorporated into your artistic works in a variety of ways! Their explosive and vibrant color make your paintings sing.  However, many artists often under estimate the fantastic nature of this medium.” Come and experiment with Angela.
Saturday: September 30th 10:00am – 2:30pm (bring snack or lunch)
Fee: $70                RAA Member: $55
 
   
NEEDLE FELTING WORKSHOP with TRACY GRABER   Tracy will teach students the fine art of needle felting. Choose between a potted cactus or a flower brooch.
This is suitable for beginners. For teens and adults.
Saturday October 7th from 10:00 – 2:00pm     $10 supply fee due to instructor
Fees:  $65    RAA Member:  $50
 
 
MOSAIC WORKSHOP with ADA JARVIS
Ada will teach beginners how to create a mosaic stepping stone 12 x 12″. Returning students can use treated 3D object of their choice. Tools and china will be provided.
Sunday October 8th from 9:30 – 2:30, bring lunch or a snack
Fees:  $80               RAA Member:  $65

A 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class must be given to the RAA to receive a refund or transfer to a different class.
There will not be a registration confirmation.  Students will be notified if the class is cancelled.   Class fees will not be prorated/refunded for missed classes.
