    Inlandia Poetry Library Ribbon Cutting On Wednesday, April 4th, the Garcia Center for the Arts hosted the Poets and Writers -Inland Empire Literary Roundtable meeting. With over 25 poets, writers, and artists in attendace, including 4 from Joshua Tree and a writer all the way from Barstow, the room was an inspiring space to be for the evening.

Member Spotlight

Merrill Grady started her textile career at the University of Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Science from the College of Agriculture.  After moving to Southern California she worked as a volunteer designing and constructing costumes at various venues in Southern California including Lewis Family Playhouse and Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga. 

 In addition to her stage work she has taught stage costuming at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. She is presently employed as a wardrobe supervisor at Lewis Family Playhouse and Candlelight Dinner Pavillion in Claremont where she oversees the costumes for the various theatrical productions.
